THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF ISRAEL LEBANON

For the year Israel continues to be battling a defensive war with Hizbullah, a Shia militia in Lebanon, on its northern border. On September 30th Israeli troops crossed the border, conducting what an Israeli officer called smaller-scale “raids” which aimed to damage missile-launchers and various military infrastructure of Hizbullah.
